Nobel Prize in Medicine

In case you missed it, last year’s noble prize in medicine was awarded to William Kaelin, Jr., Sir Peter Ratcliffe, and Gregg Semenza for their research on how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability.  Fascinating stuff!
